Traditionally precast concrete wasn’t suitable for the residential market due to its slow installation process, however with REZICAST®, a crane installs the precast panels and roof trusses in one day. The REZICAST® system therefore delivers all the benefit of precast concrete without the hassle of long installation timeframes.

The 10 days to lock-up/10 weeks total build time is based on:

1.  A standard 4-bedroom, 2 bathroom, single story home – for larger homes or two storey designs, an additional week or two may be required
2. A reasonably level block – for steep blocks, an additional week or two may be required for site cuts 

The time delay for the fire resistant level is 180 mins for 150mm thick precast.

Engineered tie-downs are applied to resist cyclonic winds and are quick and easy to install. A high level of impact resistance comes with having a fully engineered solution and the use of precast concrete panels as an external structure.

The structural engineered precast walls on the external of the home (which are sealed) make REZICAST® highly effective against flood water.

With structural loading on the precast, and not the internal frames, REZICAST® is highly resistant to termites.
