REZICAST® Systems is not a Builder. We offer a practical alternative to traditional construction methods that enables licenced builders to achieve rapid build times by using our patent precast concrete panel home building system. 

Overall REZICAST® is cost comparable to traditional methods such as brick veneer or rendered block. Here’s a quick summary of the areas you can save money by switching from brick to REZICAST®:

No, REZICAST® does not own any precast factories and is not the precast supplier. It is a part of our Business Plan to be inclusive and balanced by working in with existing businesses or to create opportunities for locals in the areas where REZICAST® is used. 

At a local precast manufacturer closest to the area you would like to build. We have industry contacts to assist and are happy to chat with your local precast manufacturer to help you establish a relationship and make your job run smoothly. 

The REZICAST® system is flexible and can accommodate both repeat and custom designs. There are savings to be had when doing repeat builds if there are no changes to what has already been engineered.

It is our aim to create efficiencies that benefit both the builder and the end user.

It would be unusual for REZICAST® not to suit a build but if it didn’t we would not waste your time or money.

Yes, the REZICAST® system can be used for two storey designs. It’s also possible to have a third storey if the bottom storey is a basement/garage.

Generally no. The REZICAST® system delivers a highly engineered build that is straight and true, unlike brick (which has considerably more variability). This makes it very difficult to seamlessly join these two different styles of construction.

Most blocks are suitable for a REZICAST® build, however there are a few scenarios where it may not work (e.g. where it isn’t possible to for a semi-trailer and crane to get access to the site).

There are many reasons why you should Build using the REZICAST® system instead of brick veneer.

The main motivator for builders that enquire about REZICAST® is the rapid build time to get to lock-up therefore providing opportunity for the build to be “cashflow positive” from that point. This a significant bonus for the builder.

Handing over to the customer sooner is also a windfall for them as time is money. If they are paying rent, or a mortgage, then the sooner they can move in to their new home, the sooner they are only making one payment instead of two. REZICAST® Systems is not a Franchise. A “Licence to Use” the patented REZICAST® Home Building System is available to licenced builders. Our aim is to assist and not restrict established builders’ operations therefore we offer the REZICAST® system as a beneficial add-on to their existing business. 

No. We are not the builder. We will provide you with a quote to use the patented REZICAST® Home Building System working under your builder number and include additional services to assist with the installation of the precast panels if that is what you want.

For licensed builders, we have a sliding scale of fees if you do repeat jobs or have multiple units in a specified build considered over each 12 month period.

The use of precast concrete panels is well known and accepted in commercial construction but has not been common place in residential building. Up until now there has been no real need to change from what the industry has always done as there was plenty of supply of product and trades people to go around.

The REZICAST® system has been around for close to 10 years and we have supported builders to complete approximately 80 homes in the ACT and NSW using our patented system (see our Gallery for a few examples of homes built with REZICAST®). We have not heavily marketed what we do as we wanted to be absolutely sure of what we were offering and that it was as easy for all builders to use.

We now have other builders regularly using the system and it is working well.

COVID has changed the world with supply of product being a problem as well as some trades, particularly brick/block layers, stretching build times beyond what is normal.

The patented REZICAST® system is a fully engineered solution that assists in addressing some of these issues builders face on a daily basis.
